FAQs

Find your balance, breathe deeply, and let your journey to wellness begin with us.

How can I reserve a spot for a class at Balance?

Our classes have a maximum capacity of 12 students to ensure a quality experience. To secure your spot and avoid disappointment, we highly recommend pre-registering for classes through our Balance Palm Coast app or website (balancepalmcoast.com). Preregistration not only guarantees your place in the class but also streamlines the check-in process, making your visit more efficient and enjoyable. Your commitment to pre-registration is greatly appreciated!

Do you accept cash payments?

We do not accept cash payments. To complete payments and registration, all students are encouraged to use our convenient Balance Palm Coast app or visit here. This digital platform offers a seamless and secure way to manage your class registrations and payments.

What time should I arrive for my class?

Your arrival should be by the scheduled class start time. No late arrivals will be permitted entry. The door will be locked promptly at the scheduled class start time. If you arrive late and the door is locked, it will not be unlocked as it can disrupt the class. The fee for that class will be forfeited as a no-show fee.

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to store your belongings and settle in.

What happens if I register for a class and can’t attend?

We completely understand that life can sometimes throw unexpected surprises our way. If you find yourself unable to attend a class you’ve registered for, we kindly request that you withdraw from the class at least 3 hours before its scheduled start time. This allows us to offer the spot to other students who may be waiting eagerly to join. Your thoughtful action not only creates a harmonious community but also ensures that every space is filled with positive energy.

What if I forget to withdraw from a class?

We understand that sometimes things can slip our minds, and we’re here to support you on your journey. However, if you forget to withdraw from a class less than 3 hours prior to its scheduled start time and it begins without your presence, and we were unable to offer the spot to an alternate student, it will result in the forfeiture of your class package. We encourage you to embrace the yogic values of mindfulness and presence both on and off the mat. Together, we’ll continue to create a space of positivity and balance.

Remember, we’re all in this journey together, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. Your well-being and experience at Balance are our top priorities.

What should I bring to class?

Bring your own towel, mat, and water to stay comfortable and hydrated.

What is the clean-up policy after class?

Show love for our sacred space. After class, tidy up your area, including props, mat, and any sweat. We aim to leave the space as pristine as we found it.

Can I leave class early?

We ask that you commit to the full practice and avoid leaving class early, as our front door is locked during sessions.

What is the policy on shoes in the yoga room?

Our yoga room is a shoe-free zone. Please leave your shoes outside.

Where can I store my belongings during class?

You can store your belongings in a cubby in our cozy lobby. Doors are locked during all classes to ensure security.

What is the policy on cell phones and talking during class?

During class, we aim to keep the vibes tranquil. Please silence your cell phones and refrain from talking during the yoga session.

What is your Minor’s Policy?

At Balance, we welcome minors aged 15 and older to participate in our classes when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. To ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, it is required that the parent or guardian signs off on all necessary waiver documents on behalf of the minor. We encourage the practice of yoga as a family bonding experience and look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Exceptions to these requirements include our Parent & Tot class, designed for ages 1-4, where a parent or guardian accompanies the child. For our preteen class, designed for ages 7-12, and teen class, designed for ages 13-17, we request that a parent accompany pre-teen/teens for drop-off to confirm that consent forms have been completed and the child is comfortable and secure.

How can I connect with the instructors?

Our instructors are here for you. Feel free to reach out after class with any questions or concerns.

Any advice for newcomers to yoga?

Remember, yoga is a journey, not a destination. Be patient with yourself; progress takes time.
