Erin

Erin’s journey into yoga began as a quest for discipline and body toning after having children. Little did she know, it would lead her to a world of healing and self-discovery that would become an essential part of her daily life.

What started as a pursuit of muscle tone, flexibility, and endurance soon transformed into a deep passion. Erin fell head over heels for yoga and its myriad healing modalities. She realized that this was her calling, and she wanted to share the love and benefits of yoga with others.

To deepen her knowledge and expertise, Erin embarked on a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) journey at Renew Yoga Studio in Daytona Beach. Her commitment to learning didn’t stop there. She went on to complete a 300-hour YTT, becoming a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher (RPYT) and earning certification as a BUTI yoga instructor.

Erin’s teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a warm, accepting, and authentic experience for everyone who steps into her classes. Her aim is to share the transformative power of yoga and help her students find a sense of peace, self-acceptance, and genuine well-being.

Lunden

Yoga has been a guiding light in Lunden’s life since the age of 15. Her journey began in California, initially drawn to yoga for its physical benefits. However, as she entered her 20s, she uncovered the profound spiritual aspects that yoga offers, revealing a path to inner happiness and a lighter soul.

She dedicated herself to yoga workshops, her heart whispering dreams of one day becoming a teacher. The pivotal moment arrived during the upheaval of 2020 when she was pregnant with her daughter. It was during this challenging time, amidst the uncertainty of a global pandemic, that her Fiancé witnessed the incredible positive impact of yoga on her well-being.

His unwavering support and encouragement ignited a fire within her. With newfound determination and purpose, they embarked on a journey to Florida in 2022, where she reignited her yoga practice and, most importantly, made the life-altering decision to pursue her 200 HR yoga certification.

Through yoga, she’s found not only strength, balance, and discipline but also a deep connection to her spiritual self. It’s transformed her outlook on life, infusing it with positivity and a profound sense of purpose.

Now, as a yoga instructor, her mission is to share these life-altering benefits with others. She specializes in YIN and Mommy and Me Yoga, hoping to inspire her students to discover the same transformation and inner peace that yoga has gifted her.

Marissa

Marissa is a dedicated yogi whose journey began in 2016 with YouTube videos. While she initially practiced yoga intermittently, the events of 2020, including the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, prompted her to make yoga and cycling central to her life. Marissa’s commitment to these activities deepened, and she even took her first steps in teaching by guiding a small group of friends when in-person classes became scarce.

In October of that year, Marissa faced a setback when she had a biking accident and broke her elbow. This incident tested her both physically and mentally, leading her to believe that she might never practice yoga again. However, after a year of self-doubt, Marissa decided it was time to regain control of her life. She recommitted to her yoga practice, overcoming physical and mental hurdles.

In 2023, Marissa embarked on a new chapter by joining a group of inspiring women working towards their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training. This journey was fueled by her passion for sharing the transformative power of yoga with others.

Marissa is grateful for the opportunity to be part of the Balance community, and we are equally thankful to have her with us. Her classes are an invitation to show up for yourself, let go of self-doubt, and embrace self-care. As Marissa says, “Get your water, roll out your mat, get out of your own way, and show up for You!”
